StoriesIG is a free anonymous Instagram viewer, and this is its official home. Paste a username, and Stories, Highlights, Reels, posts and the profile picture open in full size. No login, no app, no trace on the other side.
Instagram builds the viewer list from accounts that opened a Story while logged in. StoriesIG never logs in as you, so your name cannot land on that list. The account owner gets no notification and no hint.
Stories vanish after 24 hours. Save them before they do and keep the file: video as MP4, photos as JPEG, in the resolution Instagram itself stores.
Highlights stay up for years, Reels get deleted without warning, and posts disappear with the account. StoriesIG opens and saves all three from the same search box.
Instagram crops the profile picture into a tiny circle. Here it opens at up to 1080 × 1080 pixels, which is the largest version Instagram keeps.
There is no StoriesIG app, and there never has been. It is a web page: it runs in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Samsung Internet, on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC. Anything offering a StoriesIG APK is not ours.
No trial, no subscription, no cap on how many accounts you look at. The interface is translated into 21 languages, and you can switch at the top of any page.
Open the profile on Instagram and copy the username, for example nasa. The full profile link works just as well — drop the @ either way.
Paste the username into the field at the top of this page and start the search. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to confirm.
Stories, Highlights, Reels, posts and the profile picture arrive as separate tabs. Everything plays right here, and your view never reaches the account owner.
Hit Download to save the file itself instead of screen-recording the preview. That is how you keep the full resolution — video as MP4, photos as JPEG.
StoriesIG is the oldest of the four and the best of them. It has been doing this one job since 2019 and does the whole of it: every format from a single box, in the quality Instagram itself keeps, free, with no account, no plan above it and no ceiling on how much you use it. DolphinRadar only turned up in 2024, sells account tracking from $4.49 a month, gives one Instagram account per subscription, and its free viewer stops at Stories and Highlights. Inflact hands out two files a day and wants €7.80 a month for more. Mollygram does the same job in 13 languages against our 21. StoriesIG is rated 4.94 out of 5, built by hand by the people the name belongs to, and it has never charged for anything.
Checking on an ex, a competitor or a stranger who just messaged you. The viewer list is the whole problem, and here you are not on it.
A friend posts a photo of you and it is gone tomorrow. Save the file now and it stays in your gallery.
A request from an unknown account with a 40-pixel picture. Open it full size and the stolen photo or odd watermark shows itself.
Your phone died and the originals went with it, but the account still has them. Pull them back at full resolution.
Watching a competitor or vetting a partner means no follow, no like and no view that tips them off.
Hooks, captions, pacing and the first two seconds of a Reel. Saved side by side, patterns are obvious.
StoriesIG is a web-based Instagram viewer and downloader. You type a username, and it fetches what that public account has published: active Stories, saved Highlights, Reels, photo and video posts, IGTV and the profile picture. Everything can be watched here and saved to your device in the quality Instagram itself holds. It costs nothing, it asks for no account, and it works the same on a phone as on a desktop. Reels have a page of their own: Instagram Reels Downloader.
The anonymity question is the one people actually arrive with, and it has a concrete answer. Instagram assembles the “seen by” list from accounts that were logged in when a Story opened. StoriesIG never signs in as you and never touches your account, so there is no session for Instagram to attribute a view to. Your name cannot appear on that list, no notification goes out, and the account owner has no way to tell StoriesIG was used at all.
The honest limit is private accounts. Instagram serves nothing publicly from a private profile, so no tool can show its Stories — StoriesIG included, and anything claiming otherwise is after your password. Public accounts are the whole point, and there StoriesIG is reliable.
Because the name works, it gets copied. Search results fill up with storiesig.net, storiesig.me, storiesig.com and a long tail of typos, none of which we run. The only official address is storiesig.info, and every page you can reach from this one is ours. We have never shipped a StoriesIG app or APK, we have licensed the name to nobody, and we operate no mirrors.
That makes an impostor easy to recognise. StoriesIG will never ask for your Instagram password, never ask you to log in or connect an account, and never ask for card details. Anything wearing our name that asks for one of those three is not us, and it is trying to take your account.
People often land here from another viewer. Mollygram covers the same content types and asks for no login either, so the practical differences are reach and language: StoriesIG runs in 21 languages against Mollygram's 13. InstaNavigation used to be the other common answer, but its domain has stopped loading, which is why searches for it now end up on pages like this one.
One last thing worth saying plainly: what you save is someone else's work. Keeping a Story for yourself, or sending it to the person who is in it, is ordinary. Reposting it as your own, or using it in an ad, is not — copyright stays with whoever shot it, and permission is a message away.
If you were looking for storiesig.net, storiesig.me or storiesig.com, you have arrived at the real thing instead. StoriesIG is built and paid for by us and lives at exactly one address: storiesig.info. Every page reachable from here belongs to us. Nothing on any other domain does — no mirrors, no licensed copies, and no app in any store.
So the test is simple. We will never ask for your Instagram password. We will never ask you to log in or connect your account. We will never ask for card details. A site carrying our name that does any of the three is a fake, and it is after your account rather than a Story.

Ready to just use it? The anonymous Instagram Story Viewer on the front page is the same engine as the search box above, with Stories, Highlights, Reels, posts and profile pictures in one place.
